Swiss luxury watch brand AUDEMARS PIGUET has launched two new CODE 11.59 series self-winding floating tourbillon watches. The new dial design combines exquisite and delicate enamel and sparkling aventurine to create a unique effect of the vast starry sky.
Dial-making craftsmen covered the gold dial with aventurine and enamel fired using the “big open flame” process, highlighting creative colors, and adding to the sophisticated design and many details of the watch. Due to the natural characteristics of the enamel material and the manual manufacturing process, each “Grand Feu” enamel dial is unique and different. The enameler first mixes the glass sand and water thoroughly, then coats it with a thin layer on the crushed aventurine, and then heats it to over 800 degrees Celsius in a special oven. This operation needs to be repeated many times to obtain excellent transparency, depth and gloss, and the temperature and time of each firing are also different.
The new black aventurine enamel dial with hand-made 18K rose gold hour markers, Arabic numerals and hands, embellished with a bright 18K rose gold case. The complex hyperboloid sapphire crystal perfectly integrates the curvature of the ultra-thin bezel, and through the unique light effect, it sets off the starry night sky effect of the dial. Through the sapphire case back, the exclusive hollow automatic oscillating weight of this series is clearly visible. The automatic oscillating weight made of 22K rose gold echoes the color of the case.
Another replica Audemars Piguet CODE 11.59 self-winding floating tourbillon watch is equipped with a blue aventurine enamel dial, 18K white gold case, hour markers, Arabic numerals and hands, exquisitely finished by hand. The dial is smoky to add depth and sophistication. The use of blue and black aventurine into the enamel creates a gradual effect on the dial. The rhodium-colored floating tourbillon frame at 6 o’clock echoes the bright tones of the white gold case. The hollow automatic oscillating weight visible through the sapphire back is made of 22K rose gold in rhodium tones, echoing the color of the case.
